New Partner Named at Sullivan & Company, CPAs December 22, 2014
Effective January 1, 2015, Raj Goenka, CPA has been named a partner at Sullivan & Company, CPAs. He works directly with clients and supervises staff in preparation, planning, and advising for individual tax returns and corporate and partnership income tax returns. Raj assists clients in accounting and preparation of financial statements, as well as payroll taxes and sales taxes. He has extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and advises clients in the setup and utilization of QuickBooks software.
Raj works with businesses in virtually all industries, including construction, government contractors, retail, wholesale and manufacturing.
One of Raj’s specialties is preparation, planning and advising for individual income tax returns for U.S. tax residents, non-residents and U.S. citizen and residents living and working abroad. This includes individuals residing in the United States on different immigrant and non-immigrant visas including but not limited to J-1, F-1, A-1, G-4, H-1B.
Educational Background: Raj has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Tribhuwan University, Nepal and a Master degree in Accounting from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa.
Radka Windt Promoted to Supervising Senior Accountant
Radka Windt has been promoted to Supervising Senior Accountant as of August 1, 2013. Ms. Windt joined Sullivan & Company, CPAs 6 years ago as a Junior Staff Accountant and steadily advanced in the company by demonstrating her command of accounting principles, outstanding customer service, and ability to manage her work and those of others. Ms. Windt is the principal in-house trainer responsible for ensuring that new staff are fluent with company systems and procedures, including the use of QuickBooks. She supervises a team of 3 accountants in addition to her own portfolio of clients. Ms. Windt is also a leader in teaching our clients accounting and accounting software, such as QuickBooks and other accounting applications. Congratulations Radka!

Christopher Bailey, Staff Accountant
Christopher Bailey, Staff Accountant at Sullivan & Company, CPAs, has joined our Financial Services department. Chris has an MBA from Frostburg State University where he also obtained an undergraduate degree with a concentration in Finance. Chris advises clients as to the different types of pension plans, such as Simple IRA, 401(k), and others. He also assists with the set up of pension plans for our accounting clients. He is the third member of our staff who has joined the Financial Services department.
In addition to being a member of the Financial Services department, he provides accounting and tax services to a full portfolio of clients.
